Tuition and Paperwork
TUITION IS NONREFUNDABLE, PAID ONE MONTH IN ADVANCE AND IS DUE BY THE FIRST CLASS IN EACH MONTH. (The first class in September, October tuition is due.)  PLEASE MAKE CHECK PAYABLE TO H.U.M. LEARNING CENTER.

STATE REQUIRED PAPERWORK MUST BE FILLED OUT AND RETURNED BEFORE YOUR CHILD CAN BEGIN CLASS.  PLEASE HAVE ALL PAPERWORK TURNED IN NO LATER THAN August 1.  It can be dropped off or mailed to: H.U.M.C.: Nancy Gray, P.O. Box 550, Huntingtown, MD 20639.
CANCELLATION POLICY: We will follow the Calvert County public school closings due to weather or emergency circumstances.

You will need to provide your child's lunch and we provide the milk. 
NO NUT PRODUCTS PLEASE.

CHILDREN MUST BE TOILET TRAINED.
A NONREFUNDABLE $50 PROGRAM FEE AND NONREFUNDABLE $200/$290 SEPTEMBER 2021 TUITION FEE ARE BOTH DUE AT TIME OF REGISTRATION.  (Nonrefundable policy has no exceptions.)

DICIPLINE POLICY
Socialization is a major component in the preschool program.  For some children this is their first peer group socialization experience.  Our philosophy is to facilitate in fostering conflict resolution skills.  When there is a problem, we talk with the children involved, helping them to use their words to express how they feel, what caused them to feel this way, and how this problem might be solved (problem solving).

If the problem involves one child's continued negative behavior, after talking with that child, we would then give them a chance to make some choices, one being leaving the center they are in for a while if the problem continues.

It has been my experience that talking with the children and working with them (problem solving) to use their words to fix a problem, results in a very happy environment.
